Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is an area control strategy game game about staking your claim before your rivals box you out.

First: scatter resources across the hex-tiled archipelago and give each player a stash of settler tokens and villages.

Then: on your turn, place a settler onto the water or next to one of your existing own pieces, grabbing any resource underneath it as you go, and dropping the occasional village to mark your territory for the next phase.

When the exploration phase ends, clear the board (but keep your villages where they are), restock the resources, and then start the settlement phase, expanding only from the villages you planted earlier.

Each phase scores points based on the resources collected, and the player with the most points after the second phase wins the game.
