New York 1901

New York 1901 is a tile laying strategy game set in historically accurate, turn of the century New York City, at the dawn of the age of skyscrapers.

First: acquire territory by claiming lot cards from the marketplace and placing your workers on corresponding locations on the map.

Then: Build up your skyscrapers through the three ages. Bronze then Silver then Gold.

As you progress through the ages, you can demolish your existing skyscrapers and replace them with bigger and better ones.

Single use special action cards allow for one time bonus actions that let you manipulate the pace of the game to your advantage.

My Role: I created marketing materials and demoed the game at stores and conventions, trying to stir up interest.
